Meet your English teacher Abby!

Hi! My name is Abby. I started teaching English online in 2017 but enjoyed volunteer teaching two years prior to that. I have taught children between the ages of 4 to 16 as well as some adults. To me, a good teacher is a teacher who truly cares, both about the student and their needs and about the subject they are teaching. I make it my aim to be natural in class and to adapt to the level of each student. It’s important for me to help students feel comfortable as they are more inclined to remember and enjoy what they are learning that way. Some of my hobbies include reading, hiking, and volunteer work. I love spending time with my family and friends and to be in nature as often as possible. I also absolutely love animals. So, it’s a good thing that I recently moved to a small farm where I can see animals on a daily basis! My Superpower is making friends at ease and keeping them!
