Meet your English teacher Carla!

Hi! I am teacher Carla. My English teaching career started in 2009 when I taught English to South-African students in elementary schools. From 2011-2018 I lived and traveled in and around various parts of South Korea and taught English to elementary students there. I have a lot of experience teaching elementary students from ages 6 to 13 years with various levels of proficiency. Additionally, I have experience teaching English to Chinese elementary students online for over 2 years. Thus I have teaching experience both in the classroom and online. I believe learning takes time and one of my best attributes as a teacher is that I have a lot of patience with my students. I really enjoy helping others learn and develop their skills in the English language and share my love and enthusiasm for English at the same time. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as cooking, painting, playing with my dogs, listening to music, traveling, and trying foods from other countries. My Superpower is that I can change my voice for different story characters!
