Meet your English teacher Cherry S!

Hello, my name is Cherry S. I am an experienced teacher who understands how to motivate young learners. I make use of a Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic learning style in order to engage with my students and to help them successfully grasp new concepts. I believe that children respond well to praise and positive reinforcement, so I like to motivate my students by using encouragement and rewards in my lessons. Communication and understanding are both important in learning a new language, so I make use of props and plenty of TPR (total physical response) to make my lessons meaningful, memorable and fun. I am compassionate, caring and very patient when it comes to teaching children which ensures a comfortable and relaxed environment in which to learn. I bring enthusiasm and energy into my classroom and this together with a touch of creativity, ensures that my lessons are engaging, interesting and fun. My Superpower is baking cakes.
