Meet your English teacher Deborah!

Hi! I’m Deborah! I have been teaching languages since 1988 – face-to-face teaching German to all grades in high school and then later, after becoming EFL certified, teaching English to adults. I made the switch to teaching adults online in 2020 and then, in early 2021, started teaching kids. So I have lots of experience teaching kids and I strive to create a fun learning environment. My creative and intuitive teaching style has resulted in highly positive student and parent feedback. My Superpower is that I fulfilled a childhood dream by sailing in the Indian Ocean and then on classic wooden sailing boats across the South Atlantic and North Atlantic oceans - my 3 children were born in the West Indies.
