Meet your English teacher Jey!

Hello everyone! My name is Jey. I have been working as an ESL teacher since November 2010. I have taught students from various countries with different age brackets and levels (beginners to fluent). Though I have different fun teaching techniques, I still prefer a teaching environment that is slightly serious as some students are timid or could be out of focus when the class starts to be fun. This kind of teaching atmosphere helps my classes to be more efficient, especially in the long run. I don’t need fancy things during my classes because I can draw things right away when students cannot understand an idea. I could also do actions comically, and that is the TPR. I also use onomatopoeia when I try to explain things during my classes. It helps students capture a better visualization of some ideas and make my classes captivating. My Superpower is that I can make an onomatopoeia so well and say the ABC backward smoothly without mistakes! Hope to see you soon in one of my classes!
