Meet your English teacher Kerry!

Hello! I am Kerry. Teaching is my passion. I started teaching in 1992, homeschooling in 2013 and later moved to teaching English online since 2020. The average age of my students are between 4 and 15 years old. I believe that a great teacher should possess strong communication and listening skills; Able to adapt quickly to the child, as well as, display empathy and patience when needed. In a face-to-face classroom setting, it is easier because of the human interaction. In an online setting I like to use many props, realia, pictures, as well as a secondary reward system to emphasize positive encouragement. I try to make every class different to keep students interested. I hope to teach my students that learning can also be fun! My Superpower is that I have a sonic voice and unbreakable patience!
