Meet your English teacher Kester!

Hello! My name is Kester. I’m an English teacher from Scotland and I live in Quito, Ecuador. I’ve been teaching English since January 2014 and have taught online since August 2016. I am a versatile teacher able to give encouragement, explain clearly, and create a trusting environment for English learners of all ages and cultures. I’m an upper-intermediate speaker of Spanish, so I know very well the difficulties of learning a new language. For this reason, my preferred teaching style is to be a caring and sensitive teacher who knows how to create a fun learning environment. My Superpowers are writing stories and doing maths.
