Meet your English teacher Melissa A!

Hello! I am Melissa A. I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I believe in an active learning style. I enjoy this teaching style because I believe involving a student makes the lesson more enjoyable. I believe that any English lesson should be fun & exciting! During my teaching experience, I have found that a teacher needs to be empathetic, patient, and kind. Having these qualities helps my students feel comfortable and ready to learn. I enjoy teaching English, but I also enjoy other things, such as; learning a new language, hiking, cooking & walks on the beach. My Superpower is that I also teach voluntarily because I love it! Teaching is second nature to me, it's something that I love doing, so please join me in my class, and let's have fun learning to speak, read, and write in English.
