Meet your English teacher Nergis!

Hello. My name is Nergis C. I have been teaching English since 2012. I have experience teaching students from 3 years old to 60 years old. I have a passion for teaching and there are many reasons why I love teaching, such as making a positive impact, helping students, learning about other cultures, and being part of something rewarding. My hobbies are; running, travelling, and cooking. I especially love running 10 km with my dog every day. I especially love to explore wilderness areas on foot. Trail running in remote locales is how I keep in touch with primitive nature. As for my teaching style, I believe in creating a dynamic learning environment through intensive instruction, learner-centered activities, and fostering critical thinking skills.. A Pragmatist teaching style is the best way to describe my style of teaching. My Superpower is that I can run a marathon in 4 hours, which can help me develop patience and other skills that can improve my life, including discipline, consistency, and confidence. I always involve kids in hands on learning. Hope to see you soon in my class!
