Meet your English teacher Shaun!

Hello, my name is Shaun, I come from the North of England; just outside a beautiful city called York. I have been teaching since 2016. I have private tutored students from age 5 to 50 online and face to face. I have also taught teenagers English in a private high school. As a teacher, I really enjoy being able to connect and have fun with students. I am excited to get to know students' interests and use the tools I have learnt to make English more accessible. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking with my dog and helping people in my community. You can rest assured that as your child's tutor, I will help build their confidence and curiosity in English. If we can exchange some good recipes and music recommendations, then I’d be super happy also; learning about other cultures and travelling has been a big part of my life. My Superpower is that I can improvise comedy to make parents and kids laugh out loud, brightening their day!
