Meet your English teacher Sheila B!

Hello! I am Teacher Sheila. I have been teaching online since 2019 as an ESL teacher. I've taught young learners and advanced learners before. As an ESL teacher, I make everything as simple as possible. I always make sure every lesson is a comfortable, friendly, safe space for learners to speak, make mistakes, and learn. I make use of varieties of approaches to make lessons interactive and fun. TPRs, teaching materials, and rewards are just some of the strategies I used to encourage and motivate learners throughout the class. I also work with authentic materials to help expand the learner's vocabulary. Exploring more ways of creating an engaging learning experience is what I love the most. I am an enthusiastic, patient, positive, and creative teacher who empowers learners to speak English confidently and fluently. My Superpower is that I can watch movies all day.
