Taso 2

Novakidin ohjelman taso 2 on suunniteltu 8–9-vuotiaille lapsille. Oppilaat oppivat englantia mielenkiintoisella, sitoutumista lisäävällä tavalla. Lapset tuntevat olonsa luottavaiseksi, koska osaavat jo paljon eri asioita koskevaa sanastoa ja kieliopin perusrakenteita. He osaavat ilmaista yksinkertaisia ajatuksia, ymmärtävät opettajaa ja pystyvät osallistumaan yksinkertaiseen keskusteluun. Tason 2 loppuun mennessä lapsi on valmis suorittamaan Pre-A1-kokeen (YLE Starters) (kuuntelu ja puhuminen)

Tason 2 loppuun mennessä oppilas osaa:

  • puhua asioiden sijainneista käyttäen eri prepositioita
  • kuvailla toisten tunteita
  • vertailla ja kuvailla eläimiä
  • laskea sataan englanniksi
  • puhua suosikkileluistaan, eläimistä, kukista, urheilusta
  • puhua perheestään
  • puhua mieltymyksistään
  • puhua päivittäisistä aktiviteeteista (TV:n katselu, urheilu) ja harrastuksista
  • kertoa, mitä kello on
  • puhua eri vuodenaikojen suosikkiaktiviteeteistaan
  • puhua mieltymyksistään ruokaan liittyen
  • puhua menneistä tapahtumista käyttäen was / were -verbejä
  • kysyä ja kertoa, miten jonnekin mennään

Oppilaan sanasto seuraavissa asioissa kasvaa:

  • luokka
  • tunteet
  • eläimet
  • lelut
  • urheilu
  • perhe
  • värit
  • ruoka
  • kuukaudet
  • julkiset paikat
  • kodin esineet

Kielioppi

Tason 2 (Starters) kielioppi sisältää seuraavat määritelmät ja rakenteet:

  • this/ these/ that/ those
  • can / can't
  • have/ haven't, has/ hasn't
  • mine, yours, his, hers, theirs, ours
  • him, her, them, it
  • artikkelit a / an ja -s-päätteet monikossa
  • Present Simple
  • Present Continuous
  • kuinka paljon / kuinka monta
  • a lot of, some, not much, not many
  • was/ were

Lukeminen

Oppilas osaa sijoittaa kirjaimet tavuihin ja lukea yksinkertaisia sanoja.
