Easy way to identify shapes for a 4 year old

Hi, My Emma is still 4 yrs & needs help with identifying shapes. We have a worksheet that asks her to name and color various shapes like circles, squares, and triangles, but she's having difficulty recognizing them. Could you suggest some enjoyable method to help her learn these shapes?

In my experience as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, teaching kids English names of shapes is quite challenging. Kids struggle to remember the words and pronounce them correctly. Here are some effective ways for kids to learn the names of shapes:

1. Incorporate a lively tune while repeatedly drawing the shapes. Guide the child to sing with you while he/she draws the shape as well.

2. Play games. "Bring Me" is a game where you can show an object, ask the child to identify its shape, and then encourage the child to find another thing with the same shape.

3. Drawing is an activity little kids are fond of doing. Guide the child to draw things like a robot, a doll, a car, or even animals such as cats and dogs using different shapes.
