Is it 'used to' or 'use to"?
Hey, I was reading a bedtime story last night and came across the phrase "used to" in a sentence. Can you explain the difference between "used" and "use to"?

Hello! "Used to": Describes something that was true or a habit in the past but isn’t anymore.

  • Example: I used to swim every day.

"Use to": Used in questions and negative sentences about past habits or states.

  • Example: Did you use to play soccer? / I didn’t use to like carrots.

Hope this helps!
