Past tense of think?
Hello! my child hesitated while writing an essay and asked, "What's the past tense of 'think'?" I realized I couldn't recall and suggested we ask you for clarification.

Hi there. Thank you for your question. The past tense of the word 'think' would be 'thought'.  Therefore the sentence "I would need to think about that", refers to future tense while using thought in the sentence "I thought about that", refers to past tense that has already taken place. Thank you for your question and we look forward to assisting you with any further questions you may have.
