What are possessive determiners with examples?
Can you please help) The book asks to fill in the blanks with the correct possessive determiners (e.g., my, your, his, etc.). Could you help us out with a quick explanation?

Hello! Great question!
A possessive determiner shows who or what something/someone belongs to. They appear before the noun. Here are the pronouns they are linked to:
I - my
you - your
he - his
she - her
it - its
they - their
Here is an example of how you can use them. I'm going to use 'my' as an example, but you can substitute them all in to show you how they are used:
'That ball over there is my ball'

I really hope that the explanation helps you.
