What does the phrase “balls to the wall” mean?
Hi there, Ella Andersson. Your kid is such a smart cookie using such a phrase.
“Balls to the wall” is to do an action without limits or control. It is to put all our effort into doing something. This phrase is similar in connotation to “go all out”.
It can be used before starting an important event in our lives. For example, “You only have two options: one, go home with your current earnings; two, go balls to the wall and use all your money for another chance in the stock market.”
Your kiddo must have really wanted to win and did everything to achieve that.
