What is the plural of "mouse"?
Dear teacher, During our family movie night, my little pointed out a scene where a character said, "mouses" instead of "mice." Confused about whether it was a mistake or not, i came to ask you.

Hi Ethel!

This is one of the irregular plural nouns (meaning that we do not add ‘s’ or ‘es’) so the correct plural noun of ‘mouse’ is indeed ‘mice’.

Some other irregular plural nouns are ‘child-children’; ‘man-men’, etc.
