When to use a "semicolon" vs "comma"?
Greetings to you, Iris_Susa.
Semicolons and commas are both used to separate clauses in a sentence.
Semicolons can be used instead of conjunction to combine 2 sentences that are related to each other.
For example: Last week's vacation was fun and exciting; it was one of the most memorable experiences I had.
While commas are used with conjunctions to separate two clauses to make a sentence.
Using the previous sentence: Last week's vacation was fun and exciting, moreover it was one of the most memorable experiences I had.
