Hello!  When analyzing survey data, the choice between parametric and nonparametric methods depends on the characteristics of your data and the assumptions you can make.

Parametric Methods: Use for normally distributed data with interval/ratio scales and when you can assume specific distributions.

Nonparametric Methods: Use for data that doesn’t meet parametric assumptions, with ordinal scales, or small sample sizes.
