When to use "ser" vs "estar"?
Heyz! In a parent-teacher conference about my child's progress in Spanish class, I noticed some confusion about when to use "ser" versus "estar" in Spanish sentences. Could you provide some guidance on when to use each?

Hi there, Hukie_baby.

"Ser" is used to talk about permanent states or qualities, just like a person's name, place and date of birth, or physical appearance. On the other hand, "estar"  is used to talk about temporary conditions, such as what a person is feeling right now, what a person is doing, or where someone is.
